My husband loves our house warm... beyond warm in my opinion... in the winter you can wear sweaters.... layer clothes so I have decided to turn the heat down in our house in an effort to conserve resources. (ie. decrease our bills) My husband has agreed to go along with it. So off on this journey we are going.
Other ways to stay warm in the colder temperatures:
- put plastic over your windows (our windows are fairly new so we don't have to do this but trust me it helps)
- Use heavy curtains over windows
- caulk around windows that are drafty.
- my favourite dress in layers.
